Effective July 5, 2026
AutoGrow AI Solutions (Alberta, Canada) operates the AutoGrow chatbot service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices — for both our customers (businesses using AutoGrow) and visitors who chat with an AutoGrow widget on a customer's website. We follow Canada's PIPEDA privacy principles.
Account data: your email and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers. Your website content: when you connect a site, we crawl its public pages to build your chatbot's knowledge base. Service data: chat transcripts between your widget and your visitors, and the leads (name, email, message) your visitors choose to submit — these are delivered to you and visible in your account.
If you chat with an AutoGrow widget on a business's website, your messages are processed to generate answers and are shared with that business (it's their chatbot). If you submit contact details, they go to that business. Please don't type passwords, card numbers, or health information into a chat. The widget uses minimal functional storage to keep your conversation going — no advertising trackers.
Chat messages and relevant snippets of the connected website are sent to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) to generate responses. We don't sell your data or use it to advertise to anyone.
We rely on a small set of processors to run AutoGrow: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Stripe (payments), Google (AI responses), and a transactional email provider (trial and account emails). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
We keep customer data while an account is active. When you cancel, or on request at any time, we delete your chatbot's knowledge base, transcripts and leads within 30 days, except minimal records we're legally required to keep (like invoices). Visitors can ask the business they chatted with, or us, to delete their conversation.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If we make material changes to this policy we'll notify customers by email and update the date above. Questions any time: [email protected].
